Linnea        Nordenback

Swedish soprano Linnea Nordenback is currently a Young Artist at the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen. 

She made her professional debut in 2023 as Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni at Malmö Opera and has since returned for roles in Turandot and Maskerad. She has also performed La Contessa in Le nozze di Figaro on tour with Skånska Operan, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte and Elle in Poulenc's La Voix humaine at the Royal Danish Opera Academy. As a Young Artist at Royal Danish Opera she has appeared as Contessa Ceprano in Verdi's Rigoletto, Dama di Lady Macbeth in Verdi's Macbeth, and as a soprano soloist in LIGHT - Bach dances with Concerto Copenhagen. 

Other stage credits include performances with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Malmö Opera on tour, Kammaropera Syd, Opera Warberg, and Vadstena-Akademien.

Nordenback is also active as a concert soloist, with repertoire including Mozart's Requiem, Bach's Matthäus-Passion, and Vivaldi's Gloria. She has performed with orchestras such as Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and the Malmö Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra.

Her talent has been recognized with several prestigious scholarships, including awards from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, the Anders Sandrew Foundation, John Andersson i Anderslöv, and the Swedish Freemasonry (St Johanneslogen St Erik). In 2023, she was awarded the Audience Prize at the OVIS-rösten competition.
